Medina Lake/ San Antonio

More Texas Y'all!

When we visited San Antonio in December we stayed about an hour west of the city at a magical place on Medina Lake. The RV park was nice, but what made it so special was the deer. These were no ordinary deer, these were eat-right-out-of-your-hand deer. Seriously people. They'd come up and lick food right out of your palm. It was so much fun to watch the kids feed them. There were even a couple there that had some facial deformities, I felt especially compassionate as it seemed like it was similar to a cleft lip like our little Gus had. You can see one in the pics below.

Here some shots of the campground and some animal tracks we found...

And the best part... we even had some good friends come visit (even in the RV!)!
